Behaviour Consultancy for Providers and Allied Health
Our consultants are trained and registered Behaviour Support Practitioners (Allied health certification) with training in perinatal, infant and child mental health and trauma-informed practice.
We support service providers who are supporting or managing clients’ challenging behaviours, complex circumstances or limited funding. We regularly provide support and training to:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers
- NDIS allied health and core support providers
- Mainstream providers or services (councils, schools, medical clinics, not-for-profit organisations etc) who are managing complex or challenging cases, and who need some additional support for their clinicians or teams.
Behaviour Support and Therapy provides customised training and consultancy including:
- Training for staff implementing plans on practical strategies to support and manage clients with challenging and complex behaviours
- Training for staff in behaviour management, reporting requirements and working with a behaviour support clinician
- Training manuals to help embed training outcomes
- Working with management to ensure the longevity of formulated plans and ongoing in-house training rolled out by staff to staff
- Compliance officer support services
- Clinical supports ranging from observations, assessments and functional assessments to informal and personalised training packages with an individual or staff.
To allied health and core support providers supporting NDIS participants, we offer:
- Clinical review of complex or challenging cases
- Ongoing clinical review and supervision of staff individually and in groups
- Clinical reviews with treating teams, Facilitating and attending case conferences and planning meetings to get the right funding to match the needs
- Advice and support around end-of-plan reports to the NDIS.
